Just got back form L4, what a weekend!
The main reason me and my friends booked was to see Sarah Shahi and then
secondly Laurel, imagine our shock when we arrive to find out neither are
coming!!
I believe Laurel had a reason and really tried to come so I still love her,
yet there was no reason given as to why Sarah didn't come or even
acknowledgment that she was supposed to be there bar a poster saying she
wasn't coming (Sean Harry mentioned Laurel)!
Instead we had Guinevere Turner and Lauren Lee Smith, and they (especially
Lauren) more than made up for it!
The talks were excellent, Lauren was so funny, she swears a lot! I wasn't
really bothered about Anne Ramsey at 1st but boy, she is funny!!!
Rachel Shelley is as beautiful and elegant in real life as she looks on TV
and SOOOOOOO sweet an polite!!
On the Saturday night, Lauren and Guin (and I think Anne did for a bit)
joined the guests to drink and party, though Lauren was swamped by people,
which was quite annoying as certain guests would not leave her alone or give
anyone else a chance, but she was so polite and sweet (and braless basically
the whole weekend!) Guinevere was very drunk and Rachel remained in her
room, which I don't blame her for as she would have been eaten alive!
The Sunday it seemed everyone had fallen in love with Lauren as her picture
session had quickly sold out! Her talk was hilarious, in which she revealed
she got the tattoo on her forearm with her 94 year old Gran who also got
one, much to Laurens mums unhappiness! And she also said she hates boiled
eggs (cant be near them smell them etc), and Erin would be eating them and
Lauren did tell her but she would be remembering it whilst they were doing
love scenes!
Rachel also said she would be in ALL 8 episodes of season 6!
The weekend was brilliant all in all, Lauren was probably the star of it,
and I wouldn't be surprised if Sarah Shah has lost fans to her!
I will def be going to L5, but if Jennifer Beals cancels there will be a lot
of angry lesbians!
