#3.6 Recap by The Sci-Fi Bard

Meanwhile, back in Billie's office, Moira is getting a blow job and Billie is providing it!!!

Er. Ok.

Unfortunately for them, Jenny walks in on them doing it.
OOPS!

Has NO ONE heard of locks on this show?

Jenny says nothing, but comes into the room and closes the door behind her.

"Jenny, we were just....." Moira flounders around for something to say.
I wonder what she WOULD have come out with if Jenny had let her finish that sentence?
"Jenny, we were just looking for my contact lens!"
"Jenny, we were just checking to make sure my prosthetic pecker works!"
"Jenny, we were, er, IT WASN'T ME!"

LOL!

Jenny sits down and calmly asks Moira, "Is this the kind of relationship that you want?"
Billie tries to defend Moira, but Jenny tells him "shut up!"
And he does! lol!

"Look, it's just, he made me feel like a REAL guy, y'know?" pleads Moira, rather convincingly.

"I wasn't like, just some girl with a thing in her pants!" she adds, trying to make Jenny believe her.

Jenny takes this information in and thinks about it, looking from Moira to Billie and back again.

"OK" she says finally, going over to Moira.
"It's ok. DON'T HIDE" she tells her girlfriend.

Moira agrees and they both go to leave.
On her way out, Jenny stops and turns, staring at Billie.

Billie hangs his head, and instead of saying something and chewing him out, Jenny just leaves.

Oooooh, nice touch Jenny!

Cut to:

Back on the dance floor, Shane and Carmen are enjoying themselves.
In the middle of Sleater-Kinney rocking up a storm Shane gets a call on her cell.

It's Alice, and Shane asks where she is, cause she's missing the band and they rock etc.
She even holds the phone up for Alice to hear the music.
When she talks to Alice again, she goes over and crouches under the bar so she can hear her better.
Carmen notices she's gone and sees her crouching there so goes over to investigate.

Jenny and Moira rejoin the dance floor.

Shane, distraught, ends her phone conversation with Alice and stands, holding her head in her hands at the bar.
Carmen puts an arm around her wondering what's wrong.

Jenny comes over, sees Shane upset and asks what's wrong.
We see Carmen mouth to her that she doesn't know what's wrong.
Even Kit comes over to see what's the matter, and Shane is still with head in hands crying.

Sleater-Kinney get louder and louder and.....

Cut to:

Kit, Jenny, Shane, Carmen, Bette and Tina in the hospital waiting room.

Alice comes in and they all hug etc.

Alice says Dana is really sick and Tina asks what happened, cause they thought it was a benign lump.
Alice admits that Dana didn't tell them the truth and it's a lot worse than they thought.

When Alice mentions the cancer has spread, Kit gets very emotional.

Everyone's holding onto everyone else in a circle as Alice asks if they wanna see Dana.

In Dana's room, Lara is still there, holding Dana's hand like before.
The gang all come in quietly so as not to disturb Dana.
Jenny says hi and so does Carmen as they come in, until all of them are standing there looking at their sick friend.

Dana tries her best to smile at them.

"What you doin' in here baby girl?" asks Kit sweetly.

Dana shrugs and Bette makes her way to the front of the gang, then comes over, gently takes Dana's hand and speaks quietly and with genuine emotion:

"Dana, sweety......
we love you.
Do you know that?
Do you know we love you?"

Dana, in tears at the love of all her friends says "yeah"

Then it's sad music and fade to end titles.

Btw, for anyone interested, Young Bette was played by Barbara Kottmeier.
(Loved the nice touch of the Flashdance-esque off-the-shoulder sweatshirt in that scene. Didn't YOU?)

oh and p.s. I've seen up to episode 8 and I've finally figured out what this season is alllll about.
but we'll get to that all in good time my friends
ALL in good time ;-)
