Fade up on.
OPENING TITLE SEQUENCE.
"Women who long, love, lust
women who giiiiiiiiiive
this is the way that we, way that we liiiiiiiiiiiiiive......."
etc etc
Fade up on:
Dana's Alice standee, which is standing outside on the sidewalk along with
the trash.
Along come the trash men and empty Alice's rubbish into their truck, along
with the standee.
Buh-bye cardboard Dana! BUH-BYEEEEEEEE!
(btw, I won a Michael Jackson standee once in a teen magazine competition!
My Dad threw it on a skip about a year after though. LOL!)
Cut to:
Jenny injecting Moira in the ass with the male hormones.
I could, in all honesty, make several jokes about Jenny, Moira, men and
asses here.
But, I wont.
Aren't I a good little bard? ;-)
"Y'know what? It kinda turns me on that I'm helping you become more of a
man..." says Jenny.
Y'know what? Why doesn't it surprise me that Jenny would come out with some
weirdass statement like that?
Moira says that she IS helping her and they start making out.
Seemingly Jenny's given MoiraMax her next dose early, as she's going off to
New York and wants to be able to give MoiraMax all her doses in person.
Jenny says she's excited about what they're doing.
MoiraMax corrects her, "what I'M doing...."
"I'M the one who's doing this Jenny"
J: "I know you are......and we're gonna do it together"
Er, Jenny, you aren't listening, are you.
But MoiraMax lets that comment pass, as they are too busy gettin' it on with
Jenny hoisted up onto the bathroom sink.
The camera lingers on the syringe Jenny left on the side of the bath....
(In fact, this is a goof - or mistake - on behalf of the continuity person,
cause if you watch Jenny just after she injected MoiraMax, she clearly put
the syringe IN a dish next to the hormone vial!)
Fade into:
Dana's drip bag in the hospital.
A nurse is explaining about the treatment mixture she's administering to
Dana.
Dana is hyper-worried, asking questions and being scared etc.
Lara asks her girlfriend how the mixture feels now (Dana said it felt very
cold at the start).
Dana snaps back at her, "HOW THE FUCK DO YOU THINK IT FEELS LARA?!
HOW DO YOU THINK IT FEELS TO HAVE EVERYTHING UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK PUMPED
INTO YOUR VEINS?
MY SKIN'S FUCKING CRAWLING!"
Lara looks hurt, as she only asked about how Dana felt cause she was
concerned and loves her.
Dana is really taking her anger over her illness out on Lara, and though
it's not at all fair, it is understandable.
You can't BE angry at a 'thing'. i.e. the cancer.
But you can turn your anger onto something that reacts.
It's just unfortunate for Lara, and for Dana too, that the someone Dana is
turning her anger towards is the one woman who loves her most.
Perhaps if her parents were still hanging around Dana would turn her anger
towards them, and cut Lara some slack.
But as it is, Dana has cancer, and Lara is around her most, so it's Lara
who's getting the brunt of the barbs, snipes and verbal assaults.
Sucky, huh?
Dana bemoans the fact that her life is gone.
Lara reminds her that her life IS still here.
In her, in her family, her friends, her fans.
At that, Dana vents about the fans on her website - that one fan even thinks
that she's faking having cancer!
Lara reminds her that she shouldn't go online and read that sort of crap
about herself.
And she adds,
"I've said it before and I'm gonna keep saying it till you get it -
I. AM. HERE.
I'm not going anywhere"
Dana looks at her despairingly, shakes her head and asks,
"WHY?.............
WHY are you still here"
Lara - not knowing what to say if her love and commitment isn't enough to
Dana to justify her staying and caring for her - looks down, hurt and
doesn't add any more.
Cut to:
Shane at Wax.
The Hotness That Is Carmen is sitting getting a tattoo done on the back of
her neck.
It's of a stylised bird.
Shane thinks it looks really cool.
Carmen has a look once it's done and then it's Shane's turn in the chair.
The tattoo artist makes a cute remark about them being another pair of dykes
"getting matching tats", and Shane says at least they aren't getting their
names tattooed on each other, as that would be really "K.O.D."
i.e. kiss of death to the relationship ;-)
i.e. you get someone else's name tattooed on you and WHAM! - two weeks later
you break up!
;-) ;-) ;-)
