She starts undoing Dylan's jeans further, adding, "Tell me you want it". Her
hand goes up to Dylan's neck as the other woman nervously says, "I
can't...Helena's hand moves over to Dylan's bra strap and lowers it off her
shoulder. "TELL ME" urges Helena again, as Dylan's eyes flutter closed for a
second, her lips open, panting.
(OOOOH! Hello there nice Mrs. Dylan Nipple! *g*)
Helena finally moves her hand back up and cups Dylan's exposed breast,
drawing a deep sigh from the other woman. Helena bends and finally sucks the
exposed breast, feeling Dylan's sides, stomach, everywhere. The shot ends
when Helena moves down the other woman's body, and we ALL know where she's
headed......
Cut to:
DAMMIT! CUT BACK TO!!! CUT BACK TO!!!
*whiney voice*
CUT BACK TO DYLAN AND HELENA PLEEEEEEEEASE?!
Grrrrr......
Instead, we get:
Carmen's family all gathered around the outside dinner table. There are kids
and adults, uncles and sisters and Carmen and Shane. And there's a WHOLE
heap of food being passed back and forth. Momma Carmen comes in with a pot
of even MORE food (cause you can never have too much food if you're
Hispanic, Jewish or MY mother.....) and everyone applauds!
*note to self: applaud next time my mum brings in a plate of mince and
tatties just to see what she does*
Momma Carmen tells Pablo (the mystery guest I think!) to tell Shane about
his business. Pablo, btw, is a rather handsome guy sitting opposite Shane at
the table. Momma Carmen tells Pablo that Shane is a very good hairdresser
and is in need of a, a, a.....she can't think of the next word, so Carmen,
without even looking up from eating her food, supplies it for her: "PIMP?"
THAT sorta halts everyone in their tracks and everyone stops eating,
mid-gulp!
LMAO!
Momma Carmen does NOT look happy. Carmen says, "what?" innocently, then adds
that her mother is simply trying to set Shane up with Pablo etc Everyone,
even Pablo, tries to gloss over the awkwardness. He tells Shane that he owns
a carpet cleaning business to lighten the mood. Shane says thanks, but she
doesn't have carpets at Wax. Momma Carmen has got the bull by the horns
though and keeps on, telling Shane the carpet cleaning business makes very
good money. i.e. Pablo is well-off and good husband-potential etc Carmen at
that point has had enough and tells her mother to stop it. They converse
heatedly in their own language, until one of Carmen's sisters suggests she
take Momma Carmen to go get the next course. Momma Carmen says something to
Carmen, which I think, in essence, is something like "who are you, Shane's
interpreter/keeper or something?" and Carmen snaps back in English with "NO
Momma, I'm her GIRLFRIEND!" Now that REALLY makes everyone stop mid-bite!!!
Momma Carmen says something dismissive in reply so Carmen sets it all out
for her in HER language so there will be NO misunderstandings between them.
The last bit Carmen adds in English:
"We live in the SAME house and we sleep in the SAME bed mother!"
At that, Momma Carmen's had enough. She gets up we think she's going to go
back in the house.
But instead, she turns and says a whole bunch of stuff I don't understand to
Carmen. However, unfortunately I DO understand the last thing she said to
her daughter, which was:
"GET OUT. BOTH of you. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE".
Carmen looks devastated. Carmen's Aunty adds something in Mexican, which I
think is her trying to diffuse the situation, but, Momma Carmen replies,
looking straight at her daughter, with something that sounded suspiciously
like 'better to be a whore than a lesbian', and tells her to get out again.
Wow. Harsh.
At least MY mum just had hysterics and ONLY said stuff like "WHAT WILL THE
NEIGHBOURS SAY!" when I came out to her. Carmen's left sitting there looking
heartbroken, until she gets up and says to Shane to come with her. One of
Carmen's sisters calls her selfish and Carmen has a go at her, as she has
had to sit there living a lie to make everyone else "feel comfortable".
Shane thinks they should go talk to Momma Carmen but Carmen wont let her and
so they leave.
Cut back to:
Dylan and Helena.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fully clothed and walking up the stairs so Helena can leave.
BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Helena mentions she has a meeting with her business manager, as she's
thinking of investing some of her own money in their project alongside the
studios. Helena tells Dylan the studio wont put up anymore money, but that
SHE believes in their project, and Dylan. Helena kisses her goodbye and
Dylan is very reserved. Helena asks her what's wrong and Dylan shrugs it
off, saying "nothing, I'll talk to you later". Helena leaves and Dylan walks
back down the stairs, sitting on the bottom step with her head in her hands
and tears in her eyes. It's THEN that we see WHY she's sitting like that:
DANNY comes out of the room across the hall - HE'S BEEN THERE ALL THE
FUCKING TIME!!!!
Shit!
I knew it! Damn me and my suspicions being right! (The guy plays a Cylon in
Battlestar Galactica - he's got 'don't trust me' written allll over him IMHO
*g*) He comes over to her and they have the following conversation:
Danny: "Well?"
Dylan: "I think I got it...."
Danny: "You THINK?"
Dylan: "I GOT it."
Danny: *grinning from ear to ear* "That's GOOD!"
Dylan looks sick to her stomach and gets up, goes into the room across the
hall and shuts the door. The pair must be scamming Helena for some reason.
But WHY? Dylan, before that moment and before the role-play scene
beforehand, seemed to genuinely care for Helena.
GENUINELY.
COULD she be THAT good an actress and have been fooling Helena AND us all
along??????
Cut to:
Dana, all bundled up on her sofa at home.
Alice comes home and has gotten some films for Dana to watch while she goes
out for the evening. Dana makes a sly remark about Alice being "in the mood"
that evening and Alice stops, asking her if she DOESN'T want her to go out
on her date after all. It's obvious that Dana is jealous of Alice going out
with Chandra, but she dismisses it, insisting she's just cranky and doesn't
feel good etc Alice thinks she should stay. Dana insists that she go though
as it will do her good to get out of the house and away from her for a
while. Alice is on her way out the door when Dana shouts for her. Alice
comes back in and Dana looks like she's gonna say something, but then just
asks for a blanket as she's a little cold. Alice makes sure she's all snug
then leaves for her date. Dana lays there on the sofa and stares at the
ceiling, alone.
