Leisha Hailey 

Leisha plays "Alice Pieszecki" a wise-cracking journalist who speaks her mind, and claims she is "looking for the same things in a man as [she is] in a woman."  

Hailey - born July 11, 1971 in Okinawa, Japan - grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska (near Omaha) and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.  Leisha was a member of the musical group "The Murmurs" - now called "Gush" - and has played at Lilith Fair.  Gush is currently recording its first album.  

Hailey's most known acting screen performance to date is playing Lucy in the 1997 film All Over Me in which she played a lesbian rock and roller.  She has had several other acting roles and commercials and continues to perform with her band.  Hailey has been romantically linked to fellow musician K.D. Lang.
