Alice has a hard time getting over Dana and voices her despair over the airwaves with pills and obsessiveness between breaths. In hopes of arousing the beasts within, Bette and Tina visit a sex therapist who tries to coach them back into the bedroom and away from breastfeeding and diapers. Adding to their tensions, Bette and Tina prepare for a home visit from an adoption social worker, who could potentially deny Bette's petition to be recognized as baby Angelica's other legal parent. Carmen takes Shane home for dinner to meet her parents and Shane discovers that their sexuality is best kept in the closet. Meanwhile, Lara and Dana renew their relationship, but in the throes of passion, Lara discovers a lump on Dana's right breast. Helena visits a psychic to get her cards read, which leads her to think that Alice may be her potential new love interest. At the same time, Helena signs a deal to buy a movie studio. While still going through the growing pains of running The Planet and grieving over her father's death, Kit finds out that the hot flushes and mood swings she's experiencing mean menopause. After going through therapy and getting caught in bed with new gal pal Moira, Jenny leaves her parents home for good and heads back to LA - with Moira in tow.
