I was in the gay village, sat by the window in
Spirit Bar
with
some girlfriends [& my straight auntie! what fun hehe] and i saw this chick
outside. I was quite startled as I knew exactly who I thought it was as soon
as I saw her. Kate/Shane! ohmygod! She had a hat on, typical shane hair
poking out from underneath, jeans and a jacket and what looked like what
could only be described as, Kate/Shane's smile! then she walked off! damn!
She had a big tall guy with her who didn't look like a gay friend but like,
a big bodyguard! Then I tried to think nothing of it, but I couldnt cos it
was Shane! argh! Then i saw her again! And i saw her walk some more
this time and it was SUCH a Shane walk!

a vintage clothing shop in Covent Garden, London. Wearing her long grey
coat, she bought a belt, standing in the queue behind my friend - who was
too fucking shy to talk to her! Unfortunately, I was strolling around
somewhere else in London at that time...anyway.

in London. I was buying tickets to go down the gigantic slides they have
temporarily installed there and they were just standing next to the ticket
line talking to friends or fans, I think they went down the slides as well
but I didn't see them after that.

I was hanging out with Katherine Moennig and Leisha
Hailey in the pool room at ''The Candy Bar''
in London. They were absolutely charming and didn't seem to mind hanging out
with the fans during their time off in the slightest! They were saying that
it's nice for them to come to a lesbian bar where they aren't jumped on and
asked for autographs etc all the time. Kate and Leisha were playing pool
quite a lot of the time, and I think everyone would agree that pool isn't
really Leisha's top sport!!!!! The evening was mainly filled with random
chit chat about everyday life and what the girls thought of London and the
scene etc! Was a pleasure to spend time with them!

in Soho, and saw Rachel Shelley walking in the middle of the street, hand in
hand with a 30-something nice, normal looking bloke. For those of you who
haven't been to London - Old Compton Street is the most gay populated street
in the country. With her bright orange jacket she was obviously trying her
best to not stand out too much.

My husband and I met Leisha and Katherine last night
at the
Margaret Cho show
last night in Vancouver. Very nice but sorta shy to be recognized. Both very
beautiful in person. We told them that we loved the show and Kate said that
is was to bad that it was cancelled. Then Leisha mentioned that it was
coming back but Kate seemed surprised about that. Then I mentioned that I
loved Leisha's commercials and she kinda laughed and said it was good to
make side money. They sat five chairs away form us. They laughed the whole
way through the show.

having breakfast at Dusty's Bistro in Los Angeles. I didn't notice her until we were
leaving, but, according to our friend, Mia Kirshner was scoping out our

what-do-lesbians-really-do-for-breakfast scoop. Cute. Anyhow, she left when
we did and we all smiled as we held the door open for her. We didn't say
anything but we were dying to say, a la Marina, "Haloooow Jennieeee."

Manchester Pride 2006. It
was a bit of a double take as it was really the last place I expected to see
her! I believe she was there to watch Angie Brown perform as the final act
on the main stage. I was really keen to talk to her, but as I was standing
right in front of the stage the music was far too loud to be chatting!
Really made my day!

store (Davie and Howe) in Vancouver. He was with his 2 1/2 year old daughter
getting a smoothie. He is a super nice guy and he shook my hand and
introduced himself to me. I told him I was glad to meet someone from "The L
Word" but that I would have loved to have met the ladies! He laughed and was
a great sport about it all.

We had quite an exciting and unique experience...we had breakfast next to
Mia and Kate at the
Chateau Marmont
in Los Angeles, CA. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 10-year
anniversary and spent a few nights in a suite at the Chateau, just to get
away from our crazy, hectic lives. Saturday morning we went downstairs to
eat and to our absolute surprise, sitting at the table across from us was
Mia and Kate, having breakfast. We got to meet Floyd, Kate's dog. We were
respectful and gave the ladies their privacy but we did manage to tell the
gals how much we loved the show and tell them about a new dog we were
getting. Mia and Kate finished eating, wished us good luck with our new
puppy and off they went... Floyd in tow. Man, Mia Kirshner is absolutely
beautiful. And she's a little tiny thing too. She couldn't be much more than
5 feet tall.

Sitting 3 rows in front of me I noticed Daniela Sea & her GF Bitch!. During
a timeout, I squatted down next to her, patted her on the leg; she
introduced herself, extended her hand to shake mine & we chatted for a
couple of minutes!!! She was VERRRY nice, as was her GF. We spoke briefly
about the game; she gave me her autograph, complete with little hearts on
it!!I told her it was very nice to meet her and she said likewise & back to
my seat I went!!! She seems to be very soft spoken & had a smile on her face
the whole time we were talking!!! This is Pride weekend in Seattle, & I'm
wondering if she & her GF are in town for some of the festivities…we shall
see!!!

thin & looked rough (sounded great), Amy wasn’t very friendly but put on a
great show, she’s a real performer. Alison was awesome! Warm, friendly &
very inviting. And tall – the woman is 6’2 WITHOUT the three-inch heels on!

My girlfriend and I and a couple of friends were lucky enough to take an
agonizing 11 hour bus ride to NYC on April 20th to see Kate in
GUARDIANS. About a half hour before the show,
we were walking around near Saint Marks Place and Kate walked right past us.
I was the only one who saw her and I just stopped in my tracks and turned
around and was pretty much in shock. We walked behind her for a couple of
minutes...it's so strange because she walks like a badass just like Shane
with a cigarette in her hand. Later, she passed us outside of the venue to
get inside. The show was amazing, too...we were in the front row. Haha, we
were so close to her, she actually spit on my cheek. The venue was tiny.
There was no stage...she was just standing not 5 feet away from us. After
the show she came out and met a couple of fans who waited outside...us
included. She was very sweet. She thanked us for coming and took a picture
with us. It was such an awesome experience.

My partner & I just got back from the Dinah Shore Weekend where Laurel
(Tina) made an appearance at the L Word pool party on Sunday. She was
signing my partner's copy of the L Word book, when my honey whined,
"Pleeease...can Tina get back together with Bette?" she was told by Laurel
with the same whiney voice, "Yeah, I want to. I think the writers just want
to play this out for a while to get as much emotion out of it as they can."
I chimed in with, "But you're going to stay with the show for the whole next
season, right? No plan for you to leave I hope." She smiled and said, "No.
I'm not going anywhere. At least as far as I know I'm not." This was
followed by a chuckle. She admired my little dog, asked about her and moved
on to the next fans in line to get their books signed. Aside from her being
so warm, we're taking heart after her comments to us. We need a Hollywood
ending for at least one couple on the show. So hang in there fans... if
anyone could give us hope, it would be the actor playing the role.

Saw Kate at the movie theater at The Grove in
Los Angeles for a screening of Brokeback Mountain. The theater was packed.
She and two young women walked in just as the trailers were starting. We
were in the back row of the theater and the three of them came all the way
up and then went all the way back down and ended up sitting in the front row
to see the film. She was dressed exactly as her character dresses including
her hair.

they were walking down the street and one of them recognized the woman
passing them by on the street. It was Laurel Holloman walking her dog

back. My friends said she was wearing a jogging suit with blue tinted
sunglasses and looked really pretty and she said hello to them very sweetly.
